2AM usage

Why not make 2-4AM charged at 5000MB/unit and 4-6 at 1GB/unit That should be enough to split the usage a bit more. 500MB/unit is enough that most people will not change, but some will want to get the higher usage and change to 4AM splitting...

VoIP call log as csv

1. Please can we have the VoIP call log available as a download in csv or something. (i.e. with dates on the line, etc) 2. It would seem it is about time to make access to this selectable by month? as the list is getting quite long....

Collect miles

Could you add your broadband to Online Shopping catalogues from BA, BMI or the like so that we could collect miles when getting your superbroadband?

Provide time estimates when performing PEW

The recent weekend PEW listed at http://status.aaisp.net.uk/apost.cgi?incident=890 didn't provide an estimate of when it would be effected. It would be helpful to know a rough time when AAISP is performing PEW so I can inform my customers more...

Reinstate UP and DOWN labels in colour key on CQM graphs

The key on the right hand side used to say 'Up' and 'Down', not 'Tx' and 'Rx'. Perhaps it's just me, but Tx and Rx seem confusing, as it's not obvious whose router they're talking about! It helps to be certain which way round they are when...

Re-arrange IP blocks in clueless

IP blocks are currently formatted horizontally. This can get daunting when you have large number of blocks. Examples; http://grody.me.uk/nas/ss1.jpg & http://grody.me.uk/nas/ss2.jpg Instead something where IP's are sorted more uniformly....

e-mail users prior to 'at-risk' or greater work being carried out with details. Status pages, and Twitter are ok it you've got access to the internet to read the details.

Send e-mail notification prior to work that places internet connections at risk.

Simpler status website for novices (priceless/clueless alternative)

Your admin web pages (priceless/clueless) are massively powerful, but also massively complex. Although technically you are the best ISP, I cannot recommend you to my family because they can't understand the web interface. They find it really...

Make it easier to verify AAISP TLS certificates/PGP keys

Since I'm trusting the router anyway, it would be nice if the brochure posted with it included information about the TLS certificates/PGP keys used by AAISP, to make it easier to verify them, i.e. fingerprints, etc. Seems like a better...

be able to amortise my quota over shorter time periods

So, our internet connection is pretty important to our everyday life now - we pay bills using it, stream video, etc. This means that if I cross my monthly quota, the consequences are painful. And if it happens, it usually happens a day or two...

We'll consider this for the next router we provide... or at least we'll clearly document how to do it.

Display the time for pins on clueless graphs in the popup and dialog box.

At the moment you need to zoom in to find the exact spot in the graph the pin is attached to and then mouse over that spot to bring up the approx time popup. It would easier to have the pin popup and/or dialog display the time value itself.

automatic email on change of sync speed

We get emails when lines go up or down, however we don't when the TX rate is adjusted. Recently, my line (a longish one) dropped from ~2.5M to ~1.5M, but I only noticed a few days later when I logged into Clueless to check something else. Had...

Warn purchasers of modems (such as the DLink DSL-320B) about MTU 1508 not being available on BTw 20CN

The entries describing the DLink on the A&A website suggests that you will get IP payload MTU of 1500 when in fact 21CN is required. I just bought three based on this promise. Health warning.

A&A internet in Republic of Ireland

I'd like to know if A&A would be willing to set up connections in the Republic of Ireland on the same terms and with the same level of customer service and privacy as in the UK.

Modem config - use VC-MUX

I would like the config shipped with AA-supplied modems to always use VC-MUX instead of LLC encapsulation, enable bitswap and enable SRA. * The VC-MUX option instead of LLC gives you a free extra 3.125% speed for 1500 byte IP packets. * SRA is...

allow costumers to add notes in clueless re line-related actions for benefit of support

Set clueless up to offer http compression

Turn http compression on in Apache for clueless. Would be good for the really long plain text log files and especially useful now there are SVG graphs, anyway, less uncacheable stuff than before.

Is it time to transition to larger OpenPGP keys?

Given the uncertainty over how long 1024-bit keys will remain secure, is it time to think about a larger company signing key?

Add explicit warning in clueless about loss of IP addresses if SIM is suspended
