View the callers number as a "name" on voicemail emails

Have a list of numbers that can have a friendly name attached to them, so that when a voicemail is sent through you see the caller's name in the subject instead of their phone number.

Option for notification of LNS switches via SMS/Twitter

Currently when you do a LNS switch a SMS/Twitter message isn't sent even when All line up/down is selected, I would like an option to also be told of LNS switches, as they can stop downloads/uploads that are in progress which may need to be resumed.

Enable voicemail when profile is inactive

It seems that if I set a SIP number to only be active during a profile, there is no way to accept voicemails out-of-hours. Since I would like to "also ring" my mobile during office hours I don't want to not use a profile, but neither do I want...

A data feed for lines that are currently down

This data feed would show all lines that are currently down and allow for users to monitor a line without logging in to check, and therefore allowing integration in to other systems.

Have a headline option on clueless for each line allowing user to throw a virtual on/off switch. Likely usage: Easy disabling of lines currently not required, or temporarily insecure. Also useful if you know something is being attacked - Turn it off

Kill VoIP logins immediately on clueless

Especially when connected from my mobile, I often end up with a large number of registrations. Making sense of a tcpdump is then fairly painful. It's also useful from a security point of view to be able to kill a registered client… and change...

Support SIP MWI for voicemail

I would like to support SIP MWI for voicemail. This works nicely with Asterisk; the SIP client is associated with a given mailbox and the number of messages is indicated. The Siemens Gigaset devices that you sell support this, and it's very...

See active unit rate displayed on the usage graphs.

On the usage graphs, there is currently no easy way to see what unit consumption rate is active at any given time. It would be nice if the graphs could be shaded, possibly instead of the daytime / night time shading currently in use, to indicate...

Change contact details on lines

As a dealer it would be useful for me to be able to add/change the contact details for my customer's lines. If there could be multiple telephone number contacts this would be helpful, and maybe a field if the customer uses SMS. It would also...

allow the monthly unit purchase to be a non-integer - our location needs about 2.5 units as a fairly consistent long term average and manually operating pulse-code modulation on the subscription between 2 and 3 units to simulate that is a bit of...

Check the upgrade options of a line from within the control panel

block specified incoming telephone calls. i.e. blacklist certain numbers

The ability for endusers to specify numbers to block. Present something like "Calls from your number are not accepted", or simply a dead line tone.

VOIP readback/echo test

Skype has a free test number where it records your speech, and then plays it back to you (and throws the recording away afterwards). This is very handy when trying to debug one-way audio, line echo and problems caused by poor connectivity....
Response from the site administrator
aaisp, 21.04.2015
We'll look in to the possibility of an echo test

maintain CC list on support tickets

If I'm creating a support ticket relating to a customer's line I'll usually CC them on the initial mail. It would be nice if thankless could keep the CC list so that they're copied in on replies without having to forward them.
Response from the site administrator
aaisp, 21.04.2015
Yes, this is a bit of a pain, for staff too! We are looking in to updating the current ticketing platform, so we hope to achieve this later this year (2015)

Ideas site should not lose idea if you take too long to write it

On this site, if I take too long to write an idea then it gets lost. The form comes back with an error about the Captcha being wrong, and this "idea specification" box is blank. Please fix!
Response from the site administrator
aaisp, 21.04.2015
This is very true... However, the site is run by a 3rd party, we'll feed this back to them.

Have a "how to" on setting up a mobile data simm

It may be me, but I am struggling to get a mobile data simm working and a step by step walk-through would be helpful. (I want to use a spare Android 4.2 mobile phone to give a "mifi" service.)
Response from the site administrator
aaisp, 21.04.2015
We have some information here on Data SIMs: https://support.aa.net.uk/Category:Data_SIMs admittedly, we don't have info on setting up an Android device as a 'mifi' - but we can look in to that.

Warn purchasers of modems (such as the DLink DSL-320B) about MTU 1508 not being available on BTw 20CN

The entries describing the DLink on the A&A website suggests that you will get IP payload MTU of 1500 when in fact 21CN is required. I just bought three based on this promise. Health warning.

Email notification option - send all clueless updates for a line as they happen

So this would be a email address field or a checkbox on https://clueless.aa.net.uk/editline.cgi, and when activated, every time *anything* happened that caused an entry in the task list, you'd get an email about it. (The point would be to make...

Have free regrade to 80/20 for existing customers

With the removal of the additional charge for FTTC 80/20 over 40/10, existing 80/20 customers automatically get the cheaper prices, yet existing 40/10 customers have to pay to change over. Happy to concede if I don't understand what's involved...
Response from the site administrator
aaisp, 05.08.2016
A 40/10 to 80/20 upgrade is now on the order form, for people on Home::1 BT with 40/10 that have a forecast over 40 or 10, and is £15 inc VAT, takes one working day, and does not reset the minimum term. https://order.aa.net.uk/chaos2broadband.html (sorry that is isn't free, but there would be no change to the monthly charges). ^Andrew.

https://clueless.aa.net.uk/pew.cgi - add years to the PEWs

It's confusing - there are several from 31st December 2015
Response from the site administrator
aaisp, 16.09.2016
We actually stopped updating the PEW info as the data source at BT changed a while ago. I've updated the page to reflect this, and have a ticket open for our team to re-implement the page.

Change the way CLI is sent on VOIP
