have a longer "carry forward" of under useage. If I leave it until the current under useage is capped at the units bought and then lower the units bought I lose the ones saved. Any units bought and paid for ought to be able to be carried forward at t

Make the monthly Usage details page consistent.

Move the "excess usage from previous month" line in the monthly Usage Detail page from the "This month" section into the "Allowance calculation" section. Having last months over use included in this months total makes a nonsense of *This* months...

Share IMAP email folders with other Mailboxes

On A&As email servers, I'd like to be able to share certain IMAP folders with other Mailboxes in my domain, ie, what ever email is in my shared folder is seen by other users.

Support SIP MWI for voicemail

I would like to support SIP MWI for voicemail. This works nicely with Asterisk; the SIP client is associated with a given mailbox and the number of messages is indicated. The Siemens Gigaset devices that you sell support this, and it's very...

maintain CC list on support tickets

If I'm creating a support ticket relating to a customer's line I'll usually CC them on the initial mail. It would be nice if thankless could keep the CC list so that they're copied in on replies without having to forward them.

Yes, this is a bit of a pain, for staff too! We are looking in to updating the current ticketing platform, so we hope to achieve this later this year (2015)

Mobile Data packages (5GB, 15GB, 30GB)

Offer data packages in large blocks at some discount, typically where the price per MB is prohibitively expensive. Ideally it would be nice to pay £75 to £100 for 30-50GB on a monthly basis, rather than the 2.4p rate per MB (£740+).

Ideas site should not lose idea if you take too long to write it

On this site, if I take too long to write an idea then it gets lost. The form comes back with an error about the Captcha being wrong, and this "idea specification" box is blank. Please fix!
Response from the site administrator
aaisp, 21.04.2015
This is very true... However, the site is run by a 3rd party, we'll feed this back to them.

configurable usage top-up

It would be nice if we could configure the quota/usage top up so that you don't end up auto-topping up very close to the end of the month. This could be specified as eg. number of days before the end of the month during which auto-topup is...

Upgrade Web Interface

Compared to Sipgate, the web interface appears very basic: * No contacts list, no ability to have contact names added to call histories, no click-to-dial * No web access to voicemail, no ability to add contact names to voicemails * No phone...
Response from the site administrator
aaisp, 21.04.2015
The contact list and easier ways to SMS from a web page are good ideas. We're already working on a method to upload a voicemail greeting file via the control pages, rather then recording the greeting by dialling in to voicemail. I'm not sure we'll change the way we store and forward voicemail messages though, this will probably remaining being emailed. You could use webmail to access them. We'll see if our own webmail could have an audio player built in, which may make things easier.

Remember the "wide" state when using links in the cluless line notes

Once you've enabled wide mode, only the "full" link at the bottom preserves that state. All other links including the "View trouble reports in last X days" don't and cause it to revert back to narrow mode.

automatic email on change of sync speed

We get emails when lines go up or down, however we don't when the TX rate is adjusted. Recently, my line (a longish one) dropped from ~2.5M to ~1.5M, but I only noticed a few days later when I logged into Clueless to check something else. Had...

A&A internet in Republic of Ireland

I'd like to know if A&A would be willing to set up connections in the Republic of Ireland on the same terms and with the same level of customer service and privacy as in the UK.

Have free regrade to 80/20 for existing customers

With the removal of the additional charge for FTTC 80/20 over 40/10, existing 80/20 customers automatically get the cheaper prices, yet existing 40/10 customers have to pay to change over. Happy to concede if I don't understand what's involved...

A 40/10 to 80/20 upgrade is now on the order form, for people on Home::1 BT with 40/10 that have a forecast over 40 or 10, and is £15 inc VAT, takes one working day, and does not reset the minimum term. https://order.aa.net.uk/chaos2broadband.html (sorry that is isn't free, but there would be no change to the monthly charges). ^Andrew.

https://clueless.aa.net.uk/pew.cgi - add years to the PEWs

It's confusing - there are several from 31st December 2015
Response from the site administrator
aaisp, 16.09.2016
We actually stopped updating the PEW info as the data source at BT changed a while ago. I've updated the page to reflect this, and have a ticket open for our team to re-implement the page.

https for www-server.co.uk with automatically-generated letsencrypt certificates

I would like AAISP to follow in the footsteps of Mythic-Beasts, and support HTTPS on the www-server.co.uk machine. This can simply autogenerate certificates via LetsEncrypt and rely upon TLS-SNI to use a single IP address to host all the sites....

have my excess allowance roll over for a couple of months

Add an extra password for use when talking to aa staff and placing orders by email / irc / chat etc

Add explicit warning in clueless about loss of IP addresses if SIM is suspended

Ability to control data access on voice sims

Voice sims have data access disabled by default. We have to contact tech support to have it enabled for each sim. Can we have the ability to turn on data access ourselves via the Edit sim page?
