Order new phone numbers via an API

It would be great if we could interface to your systems via an API to retrieve a list of available numbers for a specific area code, then select and order one of those numbers, and set / update routing targets (VoIP and forwarding to other numbers) for the number. Currently we can do all this via your website, but we'd like to be able to do it via an API - this would enable us to make much more extensive use of your number services.

We are working on a new ordering system, this will have the ability to use it via an API to order the services and goods we supply. It will be rolled out in parts (service by service), and we are working on this Jan/Feb 2013.
