Order a TalkTalk LLU-based A&A service

A&A has been using BT Wholesale based products since the beginning and recently started offering Be Wholesale based products.

TalkTalk have started enabling exchanges in rural areas such as Lincolnshire that BT currently won't touch with a barge pole; they provide wholesale offerings to other ISPs and the bandwidth works out cheaper than BT's 20CN pricing - the benefit to the end user is that they can order ADSL2+ services (up to 24Mbps) rather than plain ol' 20CN ADSL1 services (up to 20Mbps).

So how about it chaps ?

We now have interconnects with TalkTalk Wholesale and are in a trial period whilst we test out the service. We'll soon be able to offer TalkTalk as an option! Do email in for more details.

From a recent email I received from ICUK:

"We have phased out Tiscali Wholesale as an alternative LLU provider. The
low demand for this product combined with the poor response times for
support issues meant that they were no longer a viable solution."

Obviously we'd expect them to give us good support, we'll see how it pans out.

I would dearly love this to work (though anything involving TT at any level is, IME doomed to failure)
I'm happy to trial it though, if the price is right of course. The OP is right, TT have fingers in a large number of "barely workable" exchanges so it could potentially open up a much wider customer base for A&A.

There is also the possibility, if neccessary, of describing this as a "lower reliability" service due to the backhaul provider being worse than the incumbent (!) if it does pan out badly.
I'd be happy to accept a lower-response-time TalkTalk backhaul on that condition if, for example, the line was one of a set of several lines into a premises, to attempt to mitigate the many single points of failure BT seem to have.

One requirement from me on this is Annexe-M, if that can be provisioned over TT LLU.

Annexe-M is one of the options we will have. So that should be OK for you.
