Quite a lot of incidents on the support site say "we are chasing BT for an explanation", but I rarely notice that an explanation is added.
I'm not sure whether this is because BT don't given an explanation, or whether they do, but it doesn't get added to the incident until much later (i.e. after I've stopped caring about the incident).
It would be interesting to see what BT's explanations are for these (significant number of) faults; maybe a monthly report summarising fault causes?
