VOIP readback/echo test

Skype has a free test number where it records your speech, and then plays it back to you (and throws the recording away afterwards). This is very handy when trying to debug one-way audio, line echo and problems caused by poor connectivity.
Currently all the AAISP free test numbers either read things out or change things like voicemail messages. It would be good to have something harmless and free that tests both directions of the audio.

We'll look in to the possibility of an echo test

the usual workaround is to use the record-to-your-voicemail feature - dial *102 , or as one of the read-back numbers, to test the audio either way. For a list of the various numbers, see

http://wiki.aa.org.uk/Test_Numbers

not as good as an echo test I admit, but what most people seem to use as a workaround
