Have free regrade to 80/20 for existing customers

With the removal of the additional charge for FTTC 80/20 over 40/10, existing 80/20 customers automatically get the cheaper prices, yet existing 40/10 customers have to pay to change over. Happy to concede if I don't understand what's involved with removing the cap, but with BT and various others offering free speed increases for existing customers, it would be nice if AA could too.

A 40/10 to 80/20 upgrade is now on the order form, for people on Home::1 BT with 40/10 that have a forecast over 40 or 10, and is £15 inc VAT, takes one working day, and does not reset the minimum term. https://order.aa.net.uk/chaos2broadband.html (sorry that is isn't free, but there would be no change to the monthly charges). ^Andrew.

For customers on units-based tarriffs, the 40/10 to 80/20 upgrade still attracts a £12/month premium charge, according to the order form.
