The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) is looking into a DNS service initially for UK Public Sector organisations. The plan is, based on the effectiveness of the service, to roll this out for UK ISPs / Private Sector. NCSC is working with Nominet with the intention of:
“……… to build a big anycast recursive DNS service for public sector. That's going to have a response policy zone (RPZ) on it that stops users of the service accessing things we know to be harmful.”
