allow routing policies to be applied as to return packets from the link they originated from

Current routing works great, but it would be nice to add some kind of feature to allow returning of packets & datagrams from the link they originated.

For example, dual ADSL (21CN+BE) via A&A and an L2TP tunnel via VirginMedia. As to allow refining of traffic shaping / bonding & load balancing.

If a packet is sent out of L2TP, but it is configured in clueless for that source range to be sent down DSL, instead return the packets down the L2TP (the originating link).

I can understand that this could be an administrative overhead, but curious to know if it can be added.
