use L2TP with IPSec

Since ICS, Android devices seem to have lost the option to use L2TP without IPSec. It would be really convenient if we could optionally use IPSec with our L2TP lines. Even if the IPSec part is handled on a different box and port-forwarded somehow,...

We're waiting for FireBrick to support IPSec, then this would be an option.

A 'reduced' Home::1 Type product (1/2 the Download to 25Gb, 1/2 the Price to £12.50)

Its austerity time 2013. It would be great to have the option to 'guarantee' the cost of my BB to a set fee, while having a bit of flexibility. Me : I use approx 20Gb per Month, on the standard usage-based tariff 3 teenagers in the...

block specified incoming telephone calls. i.e. blacklist certain numbers

The ability for endusers to specify numbers to block. Present something like "Calls from your number are not accepted", or simply a dead line tone.

register an AAISP PSTN number to a third party SIP server.

It would be useful if there was scope to register to a third party SIP server for each pstn number I rent from AA. Inbound calls could ring the usual list of targets AA allow. I wouldn't need to route out via this but that would be cool too :)...

Failover to voiceless if sip registration fails

Currently I can route sip2sim via voiceless, which works fine but doesn't give me fine control over number screening etc., or I can run an asterisk server, but the downside is if my DSL drops out my mobile phone then stops working! I'd like a...

Excess bandwidth trading

We have two Office::1 accounts, one which has little usage and one which frequently goes to the wire. It'd be nice to trade some of the excess bandwidth between the two accounts. As a wider idea, if someone has bought too many units and...

A (non-functioning) demo mailbox for prospective email customers

If there were an ultra-easy web UI facility to allow access to a demo / dummy email mailbox - that is non-functioning, eg doesn't allow sending email - then prospective customers for email services would be able to check out the related UI within...

review ttl on dns A / AAAA records for some servers

Some servers' DNS TTLs are very very short and the ipv4 ttls don't match the ipv6 ones. If this is a rotation load-balancing scheme then my apologies. But if not I think the numbers should all be reviewed just in case, and if at all possible ttls...

change the workding on https://www.s-s-l.co.uk/orderpage.cgi so that it's more obvious that it's for both broadband and "numbers"

At the moment, if you click "order noe" from telecomms, it takes you to the order page that only mentions broadband. If you then log in you get the option to choose "numbers", but it's not clear from the previous page that that will happen. I...

Host an openid service

Various websites like http://stackoverflow.com use openid for logins, perhaps it would be possible to host an openid service linked to our hosted domains to use them to log onto openid sites?

Use an IPv6 router

I've been looking for an IPv6 DSL router, and it looks like there is a reasonable consumer one. It's called a "FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7270" - they have a (beta) IPv6 firmware http://www.avm.de/en/news/artikel/IPv6_Lab.html Is there any chance...

Hide auto-UP and auto-DOWN clueless logs

Whilst the auto-UP and auto-DOWN line entries are helpful, the logs of unstable lines can quickly fill with these and make it very difficult to find other entries. It would be useful to be able to hide these entries.

see a wiki for people to help build their own IPv6 transition plans based on others' experience

Er, probably self-explanatory. I don't see much out on the web that's very informative, hence a wiki about this migration in the AAISP context would be very useful. I have stuff to share, others will have much better.

Temporarily disable IPv6 per line (for routers which barf at the concept)

Shade or mark graphs during DLM training

It would be handy (for users as well as staff, I'd assume) for a graph to be shaded or marked in some way when a line is subject to the DLM training period. Maybe a thicker BRAS line or something similar?

have the option for C&W backhaul on A&A

place a monthly cap on my SIP trunk bill, for a number of reasons, but primarily to limit my financial risk in the event of a hack, without having to monitor it carefully.

Allow an account holder to set a hard cap on the monthly bill at which point the service cuts off, for SIP accounts.

Make (?) wiki links on clueless open in a new window

Clicking a blue (?) wiki help link in clueless loads it in the same window, potentially losing the authenticated clueless session (eg closing the wiki page when done). Can these links be made to open in a new window (target="_blank") please?

Interesting idea... This would also be good for sites that do low level monitoring of equipment etc. Generally, with using ADSL/FTTC for VoIP, we'd suggest having multiple lines. We'll give it some thought.
